PITTSFIELD -- After a three-year absence, the Doo Wah Gang will be performing for the benefit of Quinn's Legacy Foundation.

A nonprofit organization, Quinn's Legacy Foundation is seeking to build a dual sheet ice arena in Pittsfield. The variety show will be held at Herberg Middle School on Nov. 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16.

On the evening of the final performance, the winner of a 2002 BMW SUV will be drawn from raffle tickets now available at Flynn BMW/Volkswagen in Pittsfield and from any member of the Quinn's Legacy Foundation executive board.

Director Scott Connors and Musical Director Phil Grover are both returning to the produce the show. The cast will include Miss Cookie Crumple, along with many of the original performers.

Quinn's Legacy Foundation Inc., is a nonprofit 501(c)(3); organization dedicated to building a state-of-the-art athletic facility. Founded by Stephen and Ann Connally of Cheshire in memory of their son, Quinn, who died as the result of being struck by a hockey puck in December 2000, Quinn's Legacy Foundation has received the support of numerous corporations and residents of Berkshire County.

Most recently the group's business plan received the support of the MassDevelopment Finance Agency in the form of a $25,000 grant. The dual rink ice arena in Pittsfield would be used for recreational skating, ice hockey, figure skating, speed skating, as well as indoor soccer, lacrosse, and other indoor events and activities.
