Dear Selectmen;

The New England Sports Center in Marlborough, managed by Wes Tuttle has been one of the greatest economic contributors for the businesses in this region. Between the hockey tournaments and the figure skating events, they contribute much to the bottom line of our hospitality industry. All our hotels, restaurants, retail establishments, gas stations etc., benefit from the many competitors and their families who patronize the Sports Center.

We are proud of the many International and National events that have been hosted in Marlborough. Many of the figure skaters arc gold medal winners and nationally known.

The management, under the direction of Wes Tuttle is very professional and efficient. Tournaments are second nature to them now, as well as figure skating competitions. This venue is truly one of the great assets in this community that we highlight.

The New England Sports Center, Wes Tuttle and staff has been an integral part of the Marlborough community. They work with many non-profits to have fundraising events. They work with the United Way annually to put together their most successful event of the year. They also work closely organizing and implementing fund raising events for the local hockey and figure skating clubs.

I am sure that this rink and its staff people will be as great for your community as they are for us in Marlborough. In this day and time we need positive venues for our youth. I am sure you will soon find out what a great asset an ice rink will be to your community.
