Performances by Earth Angels will benefit Quinn's Legacy

The Earth Angels have announced that Quinn's Legacy will be one of the recipients of proceeds from this year's performances of "Beautiful Noise."

Quinn's Legacy Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art athletic and educational support to promote self-esteem and sportsmanship for individuals and families in Berkshire County and the surrounding tri-state area.

The foundation was founded in memory of Quinn Connally, who's life ended abruptly on Dec. 4, 2000, as a result of a tragic hockey accident. The foundation is seeking to construct a dual rink ice arena in Pittsfield for recreational skating, ice hockey, figure skating and speed skating, as well as indoor soccer, lacrosse and other outdoor events and activities

This will mark the seventh year of the Earth Angels. During the first six years, the Earth Angels have donated $350,000 to charities in Berkshire and Columbia counties.

Performances for this new musical are scheduled for March 6, 7 and 8 in the new auditorium at Lee High School; March 14 and 15 at Mount Everett Regional in Sheffield; March 21 and 22 at Hoosac Valley in Cheshire, and March 28 and 29 at Taconic Hills Central School in Craryville, N.Y.

Tickets for all performances are $12 and are available at Harland B. Foster in Great Barrington, HospiceCare in Pittsfield, Elder Services in Pittsfield, Val's Variety in Adams; and at the Adams and Cheshire police departments, or by calling 243-2539 or through the Web site at www.theearthangels.org

The Earth Angels, made up of community volunteers, pledge to assist other registered 501c(3) Human Service Organizations in raising funds to assist them in fulfilling their mission.

On behalf of QLF we thank The Earth Angels for their generous contribution. Ann & Steve Connally
